Vienna around Christmas time.

Vienna is a beautiful city, with many historical and magnificent buildings. It is clean, organized, people and traffic are disciplined (what a contrast with Sana'a).

We went to the Belvedere palace. The palace itself was very beautiful. The walls and ceilings were decorated and the columns were pieces of art themselves. They also had art from a lot of famous painters and sculptors: Van Gogh, Monet, Klimt, Renoir, Rodin and many more. We weren't allowed to take pictures though.

We especially enjoyed the Christmas markets. They were all over town. This one was by city hall, probably the biggest one. Just what we needed to find the spirit of Christmas and feed our souls. Of course, the gluhwein and punch helped with that too.
