Egypt trip: temples, columns, statues, inscriptions, sacred places, offerings, and more temples...

We saw many temples. Everywhere we went, Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Alexandria. The pharaohs had a rich culture. They were seen as gods by their people. They had one obsession: preserve their bodies after death. They designed their temples and pyramids with that in mind.

Apparently some offerings were made, mostly of enemies. Marian saw her chance and made a deal with the guide to go ahead and cut my head off. Luckily the stream of tourists saved me and the photographer, me, continued to take pictures.

There is a variety of pictures of temples, statues, hieroglyphs, etc.

Enjoy.
