It was still the sweltering heat of the summer, early september, when we went to Muscat and drove by the seaport. Houses are white, mostly.
We went by the royal palace (above). We saw some of the towers outposts that can be found all over the country. The one shown here below was damaged and not accesible. We saw a very 'alien' looking one (2 pictures below), and a huge yacht in the harbor. More about Muscat in future posts.
